"Mirror's Deception" is a short film that delves into the concept of spectrophobia, the intense fear of one's own reflection. As the film progresses, Ayaan's fear intensifies, and he becomes increasingly isolated, avoiding mirrors and reflective surfaces. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Samara, a mysterious and enigmatic character who leads decides to manipulate and torment him. Through storytelling and visual techniques, the film creates an atmosphere of tension, fear and suspense. "Mirror's Deception" was a collaborative effort by a team of four individuals, Ashwin Kumar (AMD), Shruti Sunil (GD), Angel Wilson (GD) and Shanelly Nishka Hannah Cardozo (ISD), who worked on the project during their Electives. Their collective vision brought this compelling story to life, employing their creative skills in cinematography, direction, and production. This short film offers viewers a thought-provoking exploration of fear, self-perception, and the internal struggles that can plague individuals with spectrophobia.
